About us

The IRCA is legally obligated to construct, maintain, and operate Iceland’s transport system. The IRCA shall, in its operations, support and build up safe, sustainable, easy, and economical transport. Furthermore, it is the institution’s role to make sure that the development of transport is in accordance with societal and environmental goals.
